Wonderful place for weddings
I had 6 weeks to plan my wedding and my best friend found Blue Skies Inn. When we first visited the place, we were shown around by Sally and I was
pleaseantly surprised by how easy going and accommodating she was. We ended up booking 3 rooms for the wedding which was on July 17th. Sally took
care of everything. There was no fuss and muss. Flawless communication via email and phone. I sent her pictures of the kind of flowers I wanted and they
turned out perfect.
The night before the wedding Manitou Springs experienced a significant flooding event and water was flowing the a large part of the property. I had my
heart set on an outside ceremony (even though they have a lovely indoor venue which is their rain policy). Sally and Mike must've gotten up at 4 am or
earlier to rinse of the walkways and do general cleanup on the grounds. I got my outdoor ceremony. Everything was perfect, the cake, the flowers, the
venue, the rooms and the breakfast.
I would recommend this place for anyone that wants to have a small but beautiful wedding ceremony or just want a few days away from the grind.
